At Pantai Elak-Elak in Sekotong, Solidarity Garden launched the Coastal Roots Project — a community-driven mangrove planting initiative designed to protect the coastline and restore marine biodiversity.
Together with local residents and volunteers, hundreds of mangrove seedlings were planted to combat erosion and strengthen the coastal ecosystem. Beyond tree planting, the team also conducted environmental workshops for coastal youth, teaching them about the importance of protecting the sea as a shared source of life.
