Actions that Grow Change 🌿

The foundation’s main activity is environmental conservation through a system of seed/seedling distribution in areas that need reforestation, such as dry land, barren land, abandoned land, along riverbanks, and others, whether owned by the community, social institutions, private entities, or the government.

The advantage of nature conservation using the seed dispersal system compared to the conventional system is that we restore the plant growth and development system in accordance with the natural characteristics of the plant itself. Seeds, both in terms of shape and characteristics, have been designed by the Creator to adapt to their surroundings and will only grow at the right time in the right environment.

Thus, seed dispersal can be carried out at any time regardless of the season, and in a relatively short period of time, the coverage area can be very wide. It can be done by anyone, either in groups or individually, and without maintenance costs.

The foundation’s activities began with the planting of palm tree seeds, as palm trees have been proven to grow well in all conditions, whether in lowlands or highlands, on dry or wet land, in the shade or in open areas. Palm trees also have an extraordinary ability to store water in their trunks from an early age, effectively preventing erosion while preserving water sources.

Economically and socially, all parts of the palm tree, from the roots, trunk, fruit, to the leaves, are useful, especially the palm sap for producing brown sugar.

In the future, as the Foundation’s activities develop, we will also prepare other tree seeds that have vital ecological functions, such as banyan trees and pine trees, to be distributed in mountainous areas.

To realize this program, SOLIDARITY GARDEN CENTER has designed several relevant activities that can be participated in by all parties, either individually or in groups, as listed in the table below:
